It's very easy to make a wallhack for this that can only be stopped with sv_pure 1. Almost everyone who finds gifts fast is using one.
I think its also possible to pick them up in Spectator.
Not sure if thats patched or not though.

This. To check if the server you're on has sv_pure 1, just type sv_pure in the console while connected.

There's also a little story behind why I made this.
A little american kid (well sounded like it) with a mw2 ^ bullshit name started to attempt to "take the piss out of" me due to wearing the polycount badge, over voice chat someone mentioned the texture edit which allows you to see the present through walls and this cocky little shit did the dumbest thing I've seen.
Said thats impossible to do, so I sent a chat request, whipped up a mini version of the above model and exported it into the game to replace the gift, screencapped it and shown him it.
His reply?
"Photoshopped".

I then found 4 in a row, then everybody got all pissy and whiny, and I said: "Hey, I wouldn't have taken them all if you guys did yourself a favor and agree to take turns."

You can't never ask that in a pub server,I only saw a pub server where everybody was taking turns to grab the gifts,in every other pub server everybody wanted the gifts and keep rushing and ignoring everything when a gift spawned,if you asked to take only a gift they start to "FUCK YOu,NO FUCK YOU LUCK IS LUCK FAGGOT"

Models can't ignore visleafs, they are baked into the map.

Plus its not hard, the gifts have a timer on them and using my huge "I'M A CHEATER" model, it isn't hard to find them.
I got all of the masks, including Saxton because I traded 6 crates for the entire set. I'm glad I don't have to put up with finding presents.

There is that, and the fact you aren't seeing the model when you see it through the walls. Just the texture, the VMT parameter used to do that is usually used for HUD elements and the like, so it forces a texture to get moved to the front of the Z buffer (depth). So instead of it being hidden, it's forced to show through anything.

I joins a 16 slot server.
I have mapped out almost all of the present spawns, and I have a route how to get there as fats as possible.
I get them about 1/3rd the time even if I'm the only one farming!

I didn't scam you, I promised you 2 complete sets of Halloween masks. You kept your end of the deal and I kept my end.
A lot of people where apparently amazed by my magical powers to predict the drop of the next present, the fact I was constantly saying "5 mins till next drop" right after a present had been collected by someone, didn't lead anyone to think that it may be every 5 mins?
And yes we (My mates server) were farming gifts, 1st of all for ourselves, just so we could get the complete sets and be done with it, then we did it for our mates, though we started getting offers for complete sets, so we kept on making them. Highest trade was by my mate 9 keys for a complete set. Venomous Beetle agreed to trade me his Vintage Fedora and Vintage hound dog, for 2 sets, and I was happy to make that trade since those are 2 hats I've wanted for a while.
We saw a LOT of people who wanted help with achievements for either metal or killing the HHH, and gladly helped them out with it with powerplay and whatnot, Plus it was great fun battling hordes of horsemann
And this is why Batman can have nice things...
