something to note about those fancy mac user earbuds

This is a thread concerning anyone whos actually interested in acquiring the earbuds, even if your a PC user.

Its just a speculation, but im thinking Valve is going to take the earbuds away from anyone who installed steam on a Mac, logged on and played TF2 just to get them. after the date when there being handed out is over. And it wouldn't be very hard for them to tell whos is and in not a mac user. They'll simply be able tell if your a PC user if you have any one of these items in your backpack;

Mostly the bills hat one, Mac users cant even buy l4d2 yet.

from what ive seen, alot of poeple are doing it just because its a free hat. im just saying, it might not be the best idea to get those earbuds if your actually a PC user. remember what happened back in September 09 when you used external idling programs. say goodbye to all your items. And who knows, they might do something similar and even rewards PC players for anyone who doesn't do the Mac switcharo to get the earbuds.
