Block Trading when not in setup - Games

Remember the times when all your team used to sit in respawn and trade? This doesn't exist anymore. I present you, my new plugin that I didn't even test but it should work in theory: Block Trading If a player effectuates a trade when not in setup, he is banned for 5 minutes. By default, the players aren't banned if they are in spectator. Download it for your server here: [url]http://forums.alliedmods.net/showthread.php?p=1348239[/url] The only way to detect that a player traded is after the trade has been completed, the rest of the process is all client-side, it is not possible to block trading or anything like that, this is the only way.

Huh. Interesting, and possibly useful, but it doesn't seem like it's that much of an issue to me. Most people who are just trading hang out at the main menu or in trading servers.

This is really dumb IMO. The setups for rounds are like 1 minute. If your trade period just extends slightly longer than that, BAN!

I find it unnecessary that you have to go to spectator for a trade, and the fact you get banned just for not trading fast enough. It's really just a big inconvenience for a simple problem. I see the tool works for it's purposes but honestly it's just not necessary.

This is stupid. Don't ban them, just auto-cancel the trade. This is a good way to clear out your server and make everyone hate you.

You can't cancel trades, plugins can only detect trades after the trade is done, then it's too late to tell the player.
