Question about crafting and the "gift from" tag

I've got a few unusual scrap, and I want to throw together an unusual axe tonight to see if it will glitch to tradable with the update/upgrade tomorrow... Just one question. If I craft it using a Haunted scrap I was gifted, will the resulting item also say "gifted from"?

How'd you get several people to gift you unusual scrap?

Another edit... I just did this, and it doesn't give you the Gifted from tag. Thanks guys.
