I've had this problem for quite a while now. TF2 loads up fine, and all is well. I go into an empty server(generally dustbowl or granary) and pick the engineer. Everything is fine. I build a dispenser, but as soon as It finishes building, it freezes up, pauses for 15 seconds or so, and then plays the wrench hitting metal sound about 5 times before not responding.
This also happens when I shoot about 5 times as a scout, engineer, spy, or heavy. I'm not quite sure what the problem is.
I have all of the most updated versions of my hardware drivers, and meet the minimum requirements for the game. I have tried just about every fix I could find, including adjusting my paged pool memory, lowering all my graphics settings, and using console commands in my autoexec.cfg that are supposed to improve performance.
Any help?
