Valve is hiring. Now if only I had the skills.

Oh mang I know this has nothing to do with the topic, but I love those little cute mascots they created with the steam community. He's so damn cute with his orange and his little eyes.

I have heard that at your first day of work at Valve, everyone just stares at you the whole day. Try to make a conversation with someone, and they just open their mouth and stare at you, almost falling over they are so hypnotized.
Is it odd that recently I had to fill papers for high school stating my hopes and a lot of the stuff on there was VALVe?

Your gonna need to do alot more than that.
Always glad to see positions opening up for companies like this. There are a lot of talented people out there who deserve these jobs, and usually when you're focusing on some sort of art form as a career it's difficult to get where you want, especially if not many places are hiring or people don't appreciate your work. Good luck to everyone who sends in their resume!
What? Okay.
Sneak me some L4D merchandise will ya?
I hate that by the time I get a degree in anything, I might not even think of Valve when it comes time to find a job.
Well, balls. I'm neither of those. :saddowns:

Read the jobs section they need 3+ years of actual experience
I'm about to follow a general programming college, so I think I'm good. Right?
I wish fro ChemicalAli to actual apply =[ SHE NEEDS TO BE HIRED!!! HER SKILL IS FRIKIN AMAZING!!!
I'd love to take advantage of this but unfortunately I don't have the work experience required. Eventually though... eventually. A man can dream.

Pretty sure she already works at Gearbox.
# Strong typographic skills
# Technical facility with HTML, CSS, basic Javascript
# Familiarity with Adobe graphic design tools; Photoshop, Illustrator
# Flash design and development experience a plus, not required
# Self-guiding, multi-tasking, highly motivated, team-focused
All i'm missing is the years of work experiance, since I only have 1. Plus i'm doing a diploma in software coding and game design, so i'm set.
If by familiarity with Photoshop they mean expertise in Photoshop, I think I'm screwed.
