Hello Facepunch users! I have recently started having issues with certain TF2 sounds, mainly the Hitsounds and some Menu Sounds. Neither of these work, even with the option selected for the Hitsounds in the Advanced options. I know for sure it is nothing with the files in the Steam Apps folder, because my brother was playing on his Steam user earlier and everything worked. I think it is something to do with the options, but I'm not too familiar with the options in the Source Engine games and what they do! I would very much appreciate some help!
Reverify your cache, TF2 files are stored by accounts IIRC, so try that.
You can always try redownloading it.
