I can only play TF2 for about 10-15 minutes before things start getting choppy and then the game crashes. I have tried lowering the settings and such, but to no avail. Help?
Memory leak? I don't know I'm just talking out of my ass.
Have you tried verifying game cache?
Sounds like a heat problem. Go into the game, and when it starts slowing down, tell us the temperature of your GPU.
If you don't know how, there's a handy program called Everest you can use to do it. You can download everest here. There are many ways of checking, but that's how I do it.
^ Speccy is a nice choice too.

or cpuid
Or GPU-Z. It's portable and puts all the sensor data in one place, even allows logging.
Or Speedfan, if we're just naming programs to check temperatures of hardware components.
Well, my uncle, who built my computer, decided to come over today so I had him take a look. He fixed a bunch of stuff like my video driver being horribly out of date or something and upped the fan speed to make it run cooler. Thanks for your help anyways!
Somebody can lock this thread.
I opened my computer. It's fucking loud.
Try to end all unused processes, then start the game? That's what worked for me.
