Just got completely scammed. - Games

There was a guy who wanted to trade his unusual sunbeams tosslecap with me for like 10 hats, some crates, and 4 keys. I traded him the keys and some crates and lesser hats on the first one, and then he just took off. So yeah, it was an idiot mistake, but I was blinded by the sheer desire for the tosslecap. Does anyone know how to contact Valve to report this? Just to clarify some things, I verified that he had it while on the server. I didn't think he would risk getting banned when he had that on his account.

Get his steamid from recent players, top right there is report violation, type up an incident of what happened, when and steam will do the rest. Your still a fool for getting scammed.

The ones I were trading were dupes and the ones that weren't, I had a better hat for that class.

My bro got the same thing, I reported the scammer to Valve, but they just said that it was his fault and I was responsible for it. Oh well. Luckily he only traded a few crates instead of hats, which I warned him about.

I also believe Valve keeps a record of trades, so if you don't find his steam ID, just tell Valve and they'll go through your trade history and find the guy.
