http://www.fpsbanana.com/skins/71774 I would like that as a skin replacement for the cheaters lament. If anyone would be so kind? I just really hate the wires holding up the halo. http://www.fpsbanana.com/threads/162172
why did you post this?
Jesus Christ it's bugging me how you misspelled Lament.
why did you post this?
Because he's asking for something? Durr.
:hurr:
:hurr:
:protarget: But in all seriousness, I don't know how to replace it. If the creator won't answer you, you might try asking Mister Royzo, the resident mad hatter.
Ok, If you downloaded the angelic halo there should be a few files named: bonk_helmet.dx80 bonk_helmet.dx90 bonk_helmet.mdl bonk_helmet.phy (Ignore this one) bonk_helmet.sw bonk_helmet.vvd rename them to: all_halo.dx80 all_halo.dx90 all_halo.mdl all_halo.sw all_halo.vvd now put the files you renamed into the folder tf/models/player/items/all_class. If none of those folders exist create them. Hope this helped.
Tried that, it didn't work for my Tyrolean and the Officer's Hat.

But, the wires are what make it TF2-ish.
Jesus Christ it's bugging me how you misspelled Lament.
FFFFFF Why did you say this?! Now this is bugging me!
From my limited knowledge of models and the like (thanks to the mod emporium), he'd have to decompile the hat and recompile it as all_halo.
I have no clue what decompiling means, but that worked when I replaced the engineers cap with Tough Guy's Toque. I'm going to have to test it out. [editline]02:48AM[/editline]
Tried that, it didn't work for my Tyrolean and the Officer's Hat.
None of the hats of other classes work if you try to put them on heavy. I used to run a server with equipment manager, and tried a few different hats with heavy and none if them worked.
Jesus Christ it's bugging me how you misspelled Lament.
Wow, now I hate myself for that. I usually am a very anal speller. This is almost pathetically easy to do. I'll go whip one up. Or so I thought. Apparently, hexing doesn't work if there not enough space to write the full path down. BAWWWWWW stupid notepad++. Needed to whip out my hex editor for that one. http://www.filedropper.com/allclass If you know anything about installing custom models, you should be able to install this. Otherwise, place the contents of that link's file into tf/models/player/items/all_class
:smug:
:smug: we frens E: Okay, so I did that Ryth, and now I have the halo model, but the texture isnt there. All I accomplished was giving all my characters a gaudy purple and black halo.

[editline]10:45PM[/editline] The officers hat was made by Daimao to replace the Mirror,. [editline]10:45PM[/editline] It's not the Ushanka.
