I thought I'd take this chance to cover some of the recent-ish additions to [url=http://tf2stats.net]tf2stats.net[/url]. Lots of shiny has been added in the last month or so, and lets face it. Who doesn't like shiny?
[b]Player stats[/b]
The old steam group is somewhat old and dead now. I've instead taken to using a quick site registration system, which is quick and painless. You register, then put a short code in your steam profile. once done, you can remove the code. Once this is done, tf2stats will start stalk-- tracking your performance on a daily basis. This gives you things like:
- Daily analysis of your performance, compared to your average.
- Class specific breakdowns
- 2 weeks of history to compare against
If you dig further in, you'll find an option buried in the settings that allows you to enable a more advanced stat tracking. This goes the extra mile and records your KDR, and weapon data such as kills and accuracy for each class and weapon. This only works on [url=http://tf2stats.net/contributing_servers/]certain servers[/url], but people playing on the Facepunch UK server are just a checkbox away from that extra level of shiny.
Heres [url=http://tf2stats.net/player_stats/FireSlash]an example[/url]. Make sure you click around, notice the "toggle details" link under each class. you can also click the character portrait instead. Also note that your full inventory is displayed if you click the "full" button.
[b]Servers and favorites[/b]
The server pages have gotten [url=http://tf2stats.net/server_info/216.52.148.45:27015/]a bit of love.[/url] I've added locations to the server pages, as well as the option for logged-in users to add the server to their favorites. Your favorite servers will show up on the tf2stats home page, making it very easy to scan your favorite servers for activity without actually loading up tf2 or steam.
[b]Map win/loss data, comments[/b]
Map pages now show win/loss statistics. While valve already offers this data, it's now available [url=http://tf2stats.net/map_info/pl_cashworks_rc2/]on custom maps too[/url].
[b]Item use[/b]
You've probably all seen [url=http://tf2stats.net/items/]Item unlock stats[/url] and [url=http://tf2stats.net/hats/]cosmetic item stats[/url], but did you know I also recorded [url=http://tf2stats.net/weapons]weapon kill stats[/url]? Also, the method for item unlocks has changed several times. Make sure you read the note at the bottom of that page.

Rarity doesn't equal to quality. It's just a Towering Pillar of Hats with a ribbon on it. If you have a unique and cool hat for every class, why would you wear ANY all-class hat?

It isn't just any old ribbon. It's a ribbon that says [B]"VALVE GAVE ME A HAT PERSONALY"[/B].
