I like how all of this can be changed with simple resource files... which are basically text files with a .res extension.
You should add Offline Practice and the Messages tab.
there should be a option to pick styles:mac and pc

Valve's one is so bad and clunky, It's like the Playstation one's control scheme.

Yours still has a giant bar obscuring the background and pushes all the menu options to the bottom of the screen - try fading the bar more and moving all the options up a bit.
Is it stable with all resolutions?

That's nice man, real nice.
However try adding a bit of backgound to the boxes at the top, since it's hard to see the text. Not too much to obscure the background image though.
OP how did you refresh the menu once you have edited it? Typing "hud_reloadscheme" in console didn't do it for me. Is it a matter of closing TF2 reopening it?
