Hi, facepunch. Before you begin scolding and complaining about how I've jumped on the bangwagon, you should all know I have pm'd nerfed about this, and she approves. As a matter of fact, she wished me good luck and encourages what I am doing.
Anyways, to begin, I've began collecting bats and pistols on my account and a friends alt. The whole idea is, I collect bats, friend collects pistols, nerfed already has 200 scatterguns. We're the scout gang. However, due to the fact that I am very poor and irish ([url]www.tf2b.com/bites[/url]) I cannot collect very many bats by myself. Both me and nerfed would very much appreciate any possible tag donations to me so that we can begin our plan!
I will mention again and for the last time, I have nerf's approval, and I'm greatly looking forward to invading servers as scout trios! This is all purely in fun, so please don't see this as me attempting to become famous or special among the tf2 community, I'm only doing this in the heart of fun.

I'm completely aware, but she's the most well known for it, as well as practically being one of the first people to do it. Perhaps not specifically THE first person to do it, but she's generally the reason anybody has began doing it anyways.

No, you don't care about this stuff anymore. What I've planned out here is something that could be quite interesting in the long run.
Here, if you think about it in a more general way, the only real reason people don't care about this is because of how many people are doing it now that nerfed has done it successfully. I'm doing this because I think it'd be fun to make peoples day when we all go into a server at the same time.

For the record, the reason I support this collection (although I am not prepared to actively advertise this matter) is because Darkomni has only creative reasons for doing this. The same goes for a guy who was trying to collect 100 not-so-golden wrenches (but sadly, he apparently gave up :<).
I don't expect any further generosity from the community though (120 of my scatterguns being donations is a lot imo), but we'll see what happens.
Well i'm trying to collect ellis caps, seeing they are pretty low in price right now. Im at 16 right now

I just wish that I had thought of this earlier, when the community didn't see what I'm doing as bandwagoning, and instantly rating dumb. The least some people could do is read the OP.

I don't expect shit out of anybody. I'm merely asking that a community who has shown compassion enough to help with a similar objective to help me, because it's to help the person who FP originally helped. That's a lot of helping, but you get the idea. I don't necessarily expect anybody to help me, I'm just hoping that somebody might realize that they don't need to insult me because I'd like to take in their cosmetic items and make some fun out of them.

In backpack, "show stock weapons" ; then use a name/description tag and it gets you a duplicate in your backpack with the name.
