For a second I thought this was a mod by Sparkwire where all the weapons were ported from other games.

If it's a serverside mod it won't be predicted corrected by the client and thus you'll find yourself actually standing on top of the portal for however long your ping is until you actually warp.

You have to hate how Valve chose to ruin fun mods such as this over a [b]few[/b] idiotic people in the steam-forums whining about equipment-manager servers destroying their "Dignity."
Valve honestly has a habit of listening to a small portion of members and assuming that it's the opinion of everyone. I mean really, all the unnecessary nerfs came from Steam Forums. We have to keep in mind here, they fucked over the TF2 modding community over [b]pixels you wear on your head.[/b]

And if you want to know how it's relevant to the portal mod, look in the video's description. They actually had to use a server plug-in to get around Valve's shit patch.
