so you can't buy 10 of them and craft the hats into 5 hats probably worth the same if not more than 10 dollars

2 bucks for two sets of weapons + hats, craft the two hats together to get a hat you can possibly get for way more than 2 bucks.
considering most hats are 7+ dollars

It's actually really disappointing for me. Uncraftable hats were my way of getting the hats I want, cheaper. Now, I [I]have[/I] to get them at full price.
I don't know what'll happen to my current uncraftables. Will they go up in price? For my sake, hopefully. :v:
But knowing my luck, they'll stay the same, shitty price.
