The title speaks for itself.for me it was the uber update
probably the WAR! update.
the comics and the whole demoman vs soldier thing was just amazing.
also crafting was introduced so you could get hats from metal, which was perfect, it made duplicate weapons actually useful and also made hats just as exciting because it took ages to actually get enough metal for them, and costed 4 refined + a token for a class specific one, and they were random.
