TF2Stats.net is another helpful site like TF2items.com. This one wasn't made by Drunken F00l, it seems to have been created by Chris "FireSlash" Kadar. One thing that really caught my eye though was the item stats tab (http://tf2stats.net/items/) where you can see, of an increasing amount random players, what weapons they use more. Valve should look at this page, any weapon that is around 50% was a good unlock. You can also see map stats, funny how achievement_idle is the 6th most play map, and some server stats. Original steam forums thread: Click here anyways, I found this out while browsing the steam forums, and thought I'd post it here so we may discuss.
"Data sampled from 943 unsuspecting players" Bet they never knew what hit 'em. :clint:
My security thinks www.tf2items.com is porn.
"Data sampled from 943 unsuspecting players" Bet they never knew what hit 'em. :clint:
Oh that's weird, when I check it said 919, now it is 943. I guess it is still increasing.
My security thinks www.tf2items.com is porn.
Its as good as porn
Seen this before, was posted on sourceop ages ago.
Seen this before, was posted on sourceop ages ago.
but not here.
the total playing hours ar SO off, a friend of me has according to steam 666.9 hours. in reality he has way more, and this site says he has 127
Awesome, now I have a more stylish method of showing my stats to people: http://tf2stats.net/player_stats/ShugoTakahashi Though I make use of all the items in the game, so the loadouts aren't really something to go by. I'd like to see if it told me which items I use the most. And yeah, I agree with BassB. I know I have waaaay more hours than that. Other than that, though, it has everything else down. [editline]10:02AM[/editline] Also I lol'd at achievement_idle being the 6th most popular map. ...and likewise stopped loling when I noticed orange_x3 was 11th most popular map. :gonk:
Hahaha, only 7% use the Backburner.
but not here.
True, just saying it's been around for a while.
http://tf2stats.net/player_stats/iKey Pretty cool. Drunken F00l should combine his item site with this one.
Valve should look at this page
Why should they? Valve already have access to all this data. All this is doing is scraping info from elsewhere.
Why should they? Valve already have access to all this data. All this is doing is scraping info from elsewhere.
Not to mention their stats are much more detailed, with heatmaps/deathmaps and shit.
It's promising to know only 9% of pyros use the Backburner. [editline]02:40PM[/editline] We sent our favorite Heavy out into the cold cellars of our database, but all he found was a sandvich. Some might say he wasn't even looking for your server, but deep down we know he tried. Silly.
Hahaha, only 7% use the Backburner.
The normal flamethrower is better for W+M1ing, with the airblast and all
The normal flamethrower is better for W+M1ing, with the airblast and all
Plus I actually like helping my teammates live by blowing their flames away
Why do people still use the normal invisibility watch?
lolo http://tf2stats.net/player_stats/zicron9740
Kritzkrieg 25%/Medigun 75%? My team's Medics always use Kritzkrieg
My team's Medics always use Kritzkrieg
Which always pisses me off because we never NEED the fucking Kritz. Fear my Engineer building kills: http://tf2stats.net/player_stats/76561198008969611 I still have no idea how I managed to tie my Demo building kills.
It tells me that, on average, I do 10,200 damage as an engineer. :/
It tells me that, on average, I do 10,200 damage as an engineer. :/
Average damage per hour is just your total damage divided by the hours played as that class. If you're good with a class, it could easily be that high, if not higher.
Shit son. Damage Dealt: spy 172560
Shit son. Damage Dealt: spy 172560
Damage Dealt: spy 185442 High five bro.
I think my Sniper stats fucked up somewhere but I can't give a shit where.
Why do people still use the normal invisibility watch?
It blows my mind that the cloak & dagger is actually popular at all, let alone the MOST popular. It lets you trade the ability to move long distances for the ability to sit still. If you know where all of the ammo boxes are in a map, and you're conscious of fallen weapons and broken buildings and dispensers, you can stay cloaked infinitely in most maps without having to wait 15 seconds in one spot for your cloak to refill.
Some play just like waiting for a back to stab then finding one.
the total playing hours ar SO off, a friend of me has according to steam 666.9 hours. in reality he has way more, and this site says he has 127
I think the most accurate method is adding up your individual class playtimes in your Steam stats.
