Nah! this isn't going to separate the community. It's a bit of fun, soldiers and demos on the same team work together very well i find.

As soon as the update is over, people will just go back to playing as they always do.

As I played on CTF, Payload and Arena maps I found I got a [b]lot[/b] of assistance from friendly Soldiers, - as well as other Demos - much more than I expected. The two classes complement each other quite well.
