Co-editor: -DatDrunkenSoldier Want to join the contributors list? PM me or add me on Steam. I'll be contacting contributors too, asking for them to join. What sort of videos do I need to make? Giving commentary during the videos isn't necessary, but isn't discouraged either. You can post timelapses and workshop promotion videos. Most videos will probably be longer than 1 hour, so please seperate them into episodes of 30 min max. I'll do the editing if you don't want to. I'd rather upload the videos on my own channel And you have the right to do so. If you want to though, I can make a playlist on the channel and add links to your videos. I want to livestream, but how do I get people's attention? If you're a contributor then I automatically made you a moderator of the steam group (please contact me if I forgot), so you can schedule an event and post an anouncement when the livestream starts. The recorded video can then be added to the channel later on. Have any more questions? Please post them in the thread. Nice to see how many people agreed to help after you posted about this in the emporium. It'd be neat if you could've gotten LaroLaro, but it seems like he's just disappeared.
He's working on his own videogame.
There haven't been any updates since March, but I guess there wouldn't be any point to help on this unless he's working on TF2 stuff.
I bet you just want those sparkly weapons you sneaky sneaker. :v:
Feel free to add some of my videos to your list. It's me modeling and texturing: http://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561197988875517/videos/ Example:
Multitrip suggested to make a timelapse of the skinning of the skategear and to add some music to it, because an hour of skinning in silence is quite boring. I'm still trying stuff out on how to make the videos work best. Do you prefer this video over the long and silent ones? Should I keep both for people who really want to learn how everything was done step by step? Suggestions are welcome.
are these guides going to be part of that steam % thing
I don't really think it's fair with respect to the contributors, since they actually make the content, unless there's a way to split it between all of them. If it even ever gets the steam % thing.
Small update, I added Helljumper's Blender modelling, backpack icon creation and beta importer tutorials and Sparkwire's jigglebone tutorial to the newly added tutorials playlist on the channel. I also added links to Napy's flexes and importer tool tutorials, Swizzle's texture tutorial and Pogo's modelling tools and recources in the about section. If you know any other tutorials that should be added, please let me know. Edit: No automerge?
No automerge?
If you wait too long posts don't merge.
I'd happily contribute in some way, I could stream concept making... if that's something that appeals?
;41859484']I'd happily contribute a concept art time lapse type thing... if that's something that appeals?
That'd be great!
That'd be great!
Okay cool, sign me up then :)
Around 20 contributors already! Thanks for the support everybody.

I have added 4 new videos to my playlist showing some unwrapping, smoothing, creating LODs and more texturing. Please update your playlist on the channel. Thanks Link: http://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL6etqy-ZOAeiIGCfTXZ8qSs9tvgeczPPA

I'd probably like to contribute some videos when I start texturing my soldier set :3
I'd probably like to contribute some videos when I start texturing my soldier set :3
Add me on steam so we can talk. New video! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZA6qThexf_Y&feature=share&list=PLqN3JRoFfceQp6XDgpPKfGNhyJcZo8yn4 Also would anybody be interested in viewing videos of tf2 promo poster creations or fanart creations?
New video from BANG! Go check it out: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tMH8aQVKE5c&list=PLqN3JRoFfceTot_H9facW-3AH4HX2vztw&index=1
I would love more skin creation videos featuring XSI (like BANG!'s latest video)... Most modelers use 3dsmax or maya, even blender (easier??), but I've searched and I couldn't find many videos featuring this software.
I keep forgetting to record for this stuff...
