How do i deselect

I got more hats playing this game for 5 minutes than I've got in my entire playtime (and idle-time) so far. What's the point of weapon tokens in this, you can't craft anything from it and since deleting it is -100 but building one is 40, you're losing 60 points because of it whoops

I crafted the hat I want so much. A dream come true. Then I realized this isn't in game.
