Well, with the strangifiers now out and about, perhaps after all the basic unlocks that couldn't be made into stranges for possibly legal reasons, they can make stranges out of promo items and reskins via the strangifier?

I wish they'd release strange weapons for the "unique weapons" that aren't reskins. We've had a bunch of them lately, but there's still quite a lot out there that aren't reskins.

On that note, a lot of reskins are pretty and would be awesome under a strange quality, so I honestly can't choose which I'd like to see more.
