Why does TF2 have to have achievements for everything? - Games

Every weapon update so far has its own achievements which is fucking pointless since it will show on achievements list as 200 achievements. Why can't valve make weapon upgrade like a hat drop rate or something? Also I don't seem to like the fact that the holloween achievements are still there. In my opinion it would be better to have general achievements before they added weapon achievements. Thanks for all the boxes I will now make a fort of boxes.

There still isn't an achievement for being a total douchebag.

It's just a system so that you can look at that list, and reflect. "Yeah, I did that. :D" That sorta thing.

Finding them randomly doesn't come with the satisfaction of feeling like you earned them. If it were to go down any other way, then I'd want to see it just handed out immediately, rather than circulated into the god-awful random drop system(which it's part of anyway).

Anyway, it's fun to look through the achievements and think, "wow, back then I thought that achievement was impossible but now I unlocked it". Then you can feel good about yourself.
