I'm getting this error: And my backpack doesn't work: I haven't been able to access my items since the Smissmas update. I need help :(
Do ya have any mods?
I uninstalled e.v.e hud and the problem persists. Other than that I don't think I have any mods installed.
validate game files? delete steam appcache?
uploaded schema for you put in tf/scripts/items
validate game files?
Already tried that.
delete steam appcache?
Is that located at "Steam\appcache\stats"? I got the following files there: Should I try deleting the "UserGameStats_49752312_440" and "UserGameStatsSchema_440" files? as in delete the entire appcache folder from the steam folder.
Deleted the appcache folder. Still got the "Failed to apply item schema!" error.
are you blocking any ports on hl2.exe (port 80?)
Nevermind... I fixed the problem... Before the Smissmas update I copied the items_game.txt file to the custom folder so I could edit some weapon's attributes to test them offline. So after the update, the items_game.txt file in the custom folder wasn't updated. Since it was different from the current item schema, it caused the problem. And that's the reason why validating the game files didn't do anything: the problem was inside the custom folder. Sorry guys.

Yeah I forgot I had something else on the Custom folder other than the e.v.e hud.
