The worst thing about TF2 - Games

The worst thing by far in TF2 is, all the people who criticise it. I can't play a single game without being flooded with messages about 'BAAAAAAAAW HE HAS A HAT!' 'THEY RUINED THE ART STYLE!' Guess what? I honestly don't care! TF2 looks great and plays great. I just want to enjoy my game, okay? I removed 2 people from my friend list today because all they did was send me messages about how they were uninstalling TF2 and how hats are bad! I swear every time VALVe releases an update for a game people go take it as an excuse to uninstall the game Goddamn. If I was Valve I would stop supporting TF2 because everytime they work hard to release and update it's just people going 'Valve stop making new stuff!' The Mann co. store is a great Idea and while I do agree some things are VERY overpriced '17.50 for a hat!' it's a great Idea. Want a weapon really badly? Pay 50 cents and it's yours!

Yeah, I agree with you, the mann co. store is actually a really good idea, that's how valve tries to feedback the hat modelers and map makers. Also, if you don't like hats, miscs, unusuals, or the new weapons, there will always be vainilla servers. :v: But really quit a game, just for 1 new hat, sounds stupid.

I dislike that Valve added a weapon with stats that has to be bought, if I'm not mistaken.

They're greedy and that's the human nature,you can't change that.

The stuff currently in the festive crates aren't in the drop system yet, but Robin said they will be and also be added to the store in the coming week or so.

All the new stuff is completely unplanned. I can understand Polycount things... Hat + 3 items.... But adding something which they couldn't even test yet is completely BS. Winter crate fuck you.... you are taking many many hats which valve is forcing us to buy God Damn Key. But I outsmart valve. I won't buy anything from shop.

As long as everything can still be dropped, I don't really mind the store.

God I get so many messages from my friends list telling me how terrible tf2 is when I'm playing it. I try to tell them to be quiet or try to reason with them but they usually don't care. I got all the new weapons without paying for them in 2 days cheaply. It's really not that hard.

When I uninstalled TF2, I didn't uninstall it because I thought it sucked, I uninstalled it because it's an enormous behemoth that runs like a powerpoint presentation. I knew TF2 was big, but I wasn't expecting to find that a huge chunk of my hard drive would be freed just by uninstalling that one game. The framerate is so bad that I can't even play offline practice. I tried all the things that are supposed to increase your fps, none of them work. And you know, you may say that you can just ignore all the cosmetic crap and stupid particles that have infested this game, but again, I can't, because all those things that valve has added which I didn't ask for are contributing to the fact that TF2 runs so badly for me. If we didn't have these things that you guys can just "ignore" I might actually be able to play TF2. But Valve would rather cater to spoiled 13 year olds than make sure people like me are able to play.

I just hate how much a drama queen they are about uninstalling TF2, yeah you've uninstalled a game what do you want?

TF2 is, and always will be a fun game. That's all I care about. Even yesterday on a 24hour 32-slot dustbowl server was fun. Yes you read that right: no map rotation, 32 slots, dustbowl, fun.

About the art style the only thing I don't like are unusuals. I don't mind anything else.

It bothers me a lot to even see one because someone somewhere has enough money to burn to open enough crates for one in the first place.

Some people just don't know how to accept change. Whining about the same damned thing over and over - it sometimes leads me to think how this place can differentiate itself from the SPUF forums; at least those guys take some effort to actually post some of their own solutions. Here, we have enough tears to fill the pool in poolday. You want things to be fixed? Keep sending emails to Valve en masse, and they'll eventually get the message there's a much bigger demand. Single topics in forums just aren't up close and personal enough to get noticed amongst all the other hundreds of views and opinions posted each day.

Finally somebody with common sense. I'm tired of all these fanboy rant threads. Is it that hard to enjoy the game and not obsess about it?
