Seriously, there's been like, what? Eight threads on it already? Seriously, shut up, Valve specifically worked on this update to make it as balanced as they can get it, and you faggots keep bitching about how it's unbalanced just because you suck and can't avoid a Demoman with the Eylander. Just use the same tactics you would use for the Pyro, STAY THE FUCK AWAY FROM HIM! Christ, all anyone ever does is complain whenever there's an update. Valve designs these SPECIFICALLY to be balanced; that's probably what half of the time is used for; balancing it out. So please, shut the fuck up and just live with it, k?

No, the Eyelander should not be balanced, it is fine the way it is. I get owned by all sorts of classes, mostly Scouts and Spies. If you see a Targe/Eyelander combo coming at you, get the fuck out of the way, the Demoman cant aim well when he's charging, and he only has like half a second of crits to hit you. Use Pyro tactics, don't let him get close to you, and you'll be fine.

I don't care if he hits me with the charge, the problem is he's right there and I can't avoid him. I play soldier so now he has a shit ton of health and speed because it's a given he's lopped off a couple of heads already and my rockets don't do shit. The charge doesn't matter, my point is I [I]can't[/I] avoid them. Oh and the reason you're being killed by scouts all the time is they have bullets and can outrun you, and spies well durr they get everybody. Rest of us are fucked.

As long as there is updates, there will be people around to complain about them. Not everybody feels the same and has a mutual agreement over how good the new weapons are, what choices valve made, and how they're dealing with the community overall. I think valve is doing a damn good job keeping a lot of people happy, but there's always going to be people who will complain.
Only thing that really needs fixing is airshot detection on the direct hit

Unless you're a Flaregun Pyro that can pull off Airblast/Axestinguish, Or a Soldier that can melee/flee well with the Equalizer. Most people are playing as Demos and shotgunless Soldiers right now, and those are the types of classes that the Eyelander/Targe combo are supposed to have no problem with. Wait until the other classes trickle back in, and see how well they fare against guys like the Engineer or Heavy.

Also Pyros are still over powered, yes, but it just seems like the demo is now overer powered to me.
The only new weapon that is making me rage is the Direct Hit, since I play scout and jump to dodge the first rocket, and then get hit with a mini-crit by the second one.
So many "lolnerfnow" card users...
Once the class stacking stops there will be less and less shield and sword demomen. The reason being is because people will start going to classes that shoot bullets, more bullets equals more dumb ass demoman dying because they think the shield blocks bullets too.
None of the weapons need nerfs or boosts, they are fine the way they are. The only complaint I have seen is "OMFG MY DIRECT HIT DOESNT DO ANY AREA DAMAGE LIEK THE OTHER ONE WTF ADD MOAR AREA DAMAGE AND NERF EVERYONE ELSE CUZ I SUX!"

Personally as a Pyro, I love this new update. Demoman charges me? Airblast him mid-charge, ignite him, and axetinguish him. Soldier tries to rush me with his Equalizer? Keep them away with airblast and ignite them. Let the afterburn take care of them. Soldier tries to throw rockets at me at the speed of sound? Send them back at the speed of sound. All of these new Demomen and Soldiers think that their melee is hot shit now. They forget who the REAL close range king is. Even as a Medic I could go on about how I'm doing fine. Point is, everything is the way it should be.
You're right about the pyros. I picked him up and it's the most fun I've ever had as a pyro. Personally I only use the equalizer to retreat.
OP deserves more checks.
razorback is unbalanced why? because i backstab snipers... that don't make sense why dont make a razorback for all clases
