Has anyone here ever played Roblox? Probably not. It's like Blockland only you don't have to pay for it and the userbase is 98% little kids, 7-8 years old. It's a building game with a lot of potential that got turned into a "social hangout" thing based on hats, avatars, "social items", and accessories. It used to be a lot of fun, this game pretty much was my first online game growing up, from 2006-2008.
Recently it's become shit, and turned into what I described. If you get really bored and feel like building something, whether its pixel art or a mansion, this is a lot of fun to play. Once you get past the 7-8 year old kids constantly typing "n00b!" and "b1tx#!", it's online is fun too. The developer's community has seemed to take liking of TF2, making items and stuff with names and design features ripped from the game.

Oh yeah, and it's forums are like, where the more mature kids go to hangout and tell each other off without the use of offensive text/words. It's basically Facpeunch Jr., don't go there.

The game is shitty as hell but you can have lots of fun, trust me.
Oh boy a Roblox thread on Facepunch. The engine is pretty fubar so most games are unplayable.
I was on this for a few years, then it went bad. Roblox when I joined: average city, normal people. Roblox when I left: burning buildings and riots in the streets, with too few police (moderators) to handle it all.

Used to play it, it turned into utter shit and it should just die already.

I can tell Roblox and TF2 will get along just fine.
I remember when Roblox was sort of fun.
Now they added in a whole bunch of useless shit just like TF2.
I remember this, but since 2008 it turned to shit and was infested with little kids.
i signed up for roblox a few months ago to see what it was.

I recently showed this kid I know Minecraft when he came over. He said he plays roblox all the time, so I let him play Minecraft instead of the shitbox.
Kinda regretting it now though. He's addicted to Minecraft now and apparently he has some form of autism, so he's really good at it. He figured everything out in minecraft in like 7 minutes.
What a lame game. You better buy minecraft and play it every day.
