The man going to sollys house looks like a spy.
1)head shape
2)giant ears
3)the watch
4)he wears a fancy fedora
5)his face is always hidden in shadows
6)triple X on his fedora, a reference to "Operation Triple X : An Indian Spy-Run in Pakistan" perhaps?
(the books story is taking place between 1964 to 1971)
Logical assumptions..
I thought everyone already knew it was the spy...
The Administrator never really was on your side.
Or the other side for that matter.
Spy Is not a robot!
Or scout's mum has some issues...
I think the spy would be too proud to listen to the controlling administrator, him being the rouge of the team.
Than again he is going to visit the Blu solider... so its all just up to guess and imaginations to what valve may or may not be thinking when they made him
Seems as if he had no face at all.
A suit looking like that would be cool.
It's possible that the man in the trench coat is Spy, but how does this suggest that the Spy is getting a fireproof suit in the update?... at all? The "fire" is just the flash from the Soldier's shotgun firing through the door (notice the initial holes and the damage afterward). What kind of fire makes "CH-CHOOM" noises?...
I would like that fireproof suit to to be released, though.
Random mysterious Spytech guy?
Perhaps you should ask Robin?
It'd be worth an attempt.
It's possible because characters in comics do not look exactly the same as they are in game.
So the spy is actually a Teletubby? x_X
Why are you assuming that it's a fireproof suit? I've only heard about it being in the beta, was there something I missed?
Maybe the suit's like the hats, pretty but useless.
Where's the idea of a fireproof suit coming from? Isn't that a shotgun blast coming from the door, not a fire?
Cool.
Hey, so this is slightly off subject but at the beginning of the demoman comic the location "Badlands, New Mexico" is given but no location is given for the beginning of the soldier's comic. It's probably just nothing but does anyone have any thoughts as to why it wouldn't be given?
I figured it was either an oversight, they both live in Badlands, New Mexico, or a location wasn't given to keep with the secretive location theme of the soldier.

The comic renditions of the characters look pretty damn close so far. As for the unidentified man and the spy, I'm just not seeing it.
Boys, we have a traitor.
but we've already had the spy update
The man in the trench coat is not smoking.
Therefor it couldn't be the spy.
This guy doesn't seem tall enough to be the spy.

He's trying to quit.

The suit was being tested along with the engie's PDQ wrench and the heavy's Gloves of Running Urgently.

He's slim enough though!
I hope we're getting the new suit... and the new HWG gloves as well :ohdear:

Yes, but where does the idea that HE'S WEARING A FIREPROOF SUIT IN THAT IMAGE come from?
I was actually thinking it looked very similiar to the Spy.

Oh, I have no idea. Maybe he's just wetting his pants hoping that there will be something for his favorite class.
I do fucking hope that if there is ever going to be fireproof suit it will look like a trench coat. (like that in the comics)

With *FLASH* tauntkill

Probably.
ALSO: The person in the comic's not wearing glover or a balaclava, so I doubt it's the spy.
Fire proof suit is for bad spies, I've said it before, and I'll say it again.
