Whenever I try to start up TF2, or any Steam game, I get this error:

This started about a day ago.
I've tried reinstalling games, and restarting steam.
Nothing has helped.
Anyone know what I should do to fix this?
The only solution i can find is to reinstall [b]Steam[/b].
If I do that, won't I love all my game files and stuff?
Yes, but it will take a while to reinstall all games from steam.
It is a long route, but it's worth it in the end.
What about my gamesaves and stuff? Like Just Cause 2, for example.
All your stats and saves are saved on your account. If you're really worried, you can copy the Just Cause 2 folder and place it somewhere else.

I reinstalled Steam. IT DIDN'T HELP.

second edit, problem resolved. Windows 7 + PCTools Spyware Doctor + Steam = BLARG
You reinstalled steam and verified game cache's yet it still doesn't work.
Delete clientregistry.blob maybe? That's a random fix for alot of other faults.
