Am i the only person who has been getting more frequent crashes because of the update?
It's gotten to the point where i can play for like 5 minutes then suddenly the game locks up and dies.
This never happened before the update, hopefully it's something that valve will fix soon.
I've been crashing a lot lately

When i first played it lasted like 2 hours. Then i closed the game because i couldn't connect to steam for my inventory. I think the crashing is related to the new crafting shit. I've had issues where i join a server then get stuck in the main screen. If i click "return to game" nothing happens so i have to disconnect and restart TF2.
The server I was in crashed.

Inventory is down as Valve is doing something to it, start reading some of the threads here and blog posts.
I crashed while checking my inventory. Not just the game, the entire fucking computer locked up, couldn't do a damn thing. Couldn't move my mouse. Just to see if ANYTHING would happen, I even stuck in a USB flash drive into the machine, and the damn light on the drive didn't even flash. The computer just plain stopped working.
I've never seen anything like it before, let alone from a game. It scared me to death.
This used to happen in every update. You'd randomly get to a point where the game just "Breaks" and forbids you from playing it. It usually blew over on the next update.
But then Valve fixed it, so I guess the dreaded "Update crash bug" is back.
I can't conect to steam D: every server i found lost conection to steam, but just for me! Everybody uses new wepons but not me D:

every time i taunt kill a heavy with Eyelander the game crashes
I get the crash when I update my Team Fortress 2 so does 4 of my other friends
It just gets to 61% then CRASH hope Valve fix it :(

turn off multi-core rendering.
for some reason it turned itself on after this update.
I've had 2 Bsods in a row after never having any before now.
Restarted steam, running perfect again.
Hmm...cannot take my loadout don't know why...just says "Lost connection to Steam" for no reason.
What causes a definite server crash is when a demo taunt kills a heavy.
The update is near enough completely broken for me, i can't see the Chargin' Targe or the Eyelander when they're equipped and the game crashes when i use the Direct Hit.
I'm going to avoid crafting anything until Valve works out the kinks.
My computer has totally frozen for two times
I crashed more than 10 times today.
My game crashes every other map load in the MOTD screen. I don't know if it's the update, or my new graphics card (HD5850). It never crashed before :/
Same here, mine never crashed before, ill just wait till this weekend is over.

So far, I've crashed twice immediately after getting a revenge. Might be a coincidence, but...
I've had some pretty hard-core crashes too, including an instance where everything just froze. No looping sounds, no beeps, nothing. Just... Frozen.
not necessary 5 minutes, im guessing every 30 minutes, frozen.

It gets pretty scary cause the game doesn't acknowledge you if it's just lag or if your game died.
