Let's just keep pretending that cosmetic items don't affect your gaming experience at all then.
In fact it's not even the items so much as the attitude they promote. I used to think that the items didn't matter, and yet here I am, slowly growing less and less interested in playing a game full of visual clutter.

KF items were pretty well done though. These... argh.

Wow developers are abusing the TF2 community and their lust for hats and cosmetic items.
