Playing in 3-D - Games - Facepunch Forum

Anyone using the iZ3D drivers with Anaglyph glasses? If so, what are your settings? Convergence and Separation.

This fucked my game up so hard. rendering twice the data is not worth shitty 3d effects in my opinion.

Heh, it's not worth the attempt actually. I can't differentiate team colours with it. Lol.

Is 3D any good in games ?

I played L4D in 3D. It's pretty sweet actually.

If you have the money, get one of the iz3d monitors, you retain full color.

Nah, the 3-D fad is an expensive hobby.

I'm getting the iZ3D monitor sometime. I heard it was excellent. Better than the getting a shitty 3D TV from Sony and plus, I don't need "Special 3D games" when most good PC games have 3D support already with the monitor.

I've tried it and it's awesome, but the colors are all messed up

Along with a $250 or more screen and special cards...

Did actually anyone happen to have played tf2 in 3D?

I would have to redownload all the software and such. Maybe someone else has it installed? Also I have ATI so I have to use a 3rd party program to get the desired effect.

You can have it set so 3D can be turned off just by pressing 2 keys, so if you don't like it you can just turn it off. I didn't start getting a headache after a half-hour session, so I'd say it works nicely. Minimal HUD's enabled in the multiplayer settings, and I'll get the links to the other 2 in a bit.

Am i the only one whos eyes arn't fooled by the 3d effect what so ever? I try and try but it never has any depth, it just looks like a messed up collage of colour. i want 3d :(

Will 3D work on my pc? i have an HD 5770 and 4GB DDR2 and Intel Core 2 duo OC at 3GHZ. I also have some glasses their are blue yellowish.

Just make sure your monitor is up to spec.
