I just found heavy has something similar, get yourself to one ammo, switch to the shotgun, then back again, then hold leftclick, and TAP rightclick while still holding leftclick. You'll look like your firing (client AND serversided - check with bots) but do no damage. Awesome.

You can do this with any clip weapon, I've been doing it ever since they included the auto reload function.

Actually you should take the attack2 off of there, since letting go of attack2 lets you fire while still making the obnoxious noise. So then you would just hold mouse3 and mouse2, letting go of mouse2 to attack and then holding it again to stop.

Well, actually, y'see there's an interesting story behind that...
...The story is that I have no fucking idea, I'm personally fond of guns and know people that are gun nuts, they all use 'clip' and 'magazine' interchangeably. In the end, I don't think it makes a difference, as long as everyone knows what the hell you're blathering on about.
Magazine is what holds the bullets in a gun.
Clip is what empties the bullets into a magazine.
Let's just leave it at that, before one of those people come along and post a million word essay about the difference between the words "Clip" and "Magazine".
There is a difference, but personally I don't give a shit.
