OLD TF2?

Hey, as well as know TF2 has degenerated into a steaming pile of rabid dog shit throughout the following years, so I was wondering if there exists any way to play vanilla circa 2007 TF2? Like any servers or community that sticks to more or less the original build of Team Fortress with glitches patched? Thanks!

Sorry if I was a bit blunt, hate the new hats and everything it just absolutely disgusts me as it destroys the balanced gameplay core of the game. Anyways the question still stands

Well an easy answer to your question is no. There are vanilla servers with the original weapons but with glitches and stuff, no, glitches are removed for the better of things.

You'll hate playing as some classes with lack of some weapons, as well as lack of some abilities (airblast, for example).

basically you can either get console tf2 or use the thread above which is the closest you'll get. valve fixes glitches and there is no way you can get them back in the game and i have no idea why'd you want them anyway ??? i understand not wanting hats + weps but glitches?

In all honesty, it was an art to accomplish some of the glitches from TF2 on the Xbox. My personal favourite being getting out the maps with the 'Jellyhop' technique (the "under the ground in Gravelpit" still escapes me to this day. I just get stuck in the floor).

The "Backstab without losing your disguise" was quite fun while it lasted (still available in the PS3 version since EA, who published it, couldn't be arsed pushing the patches out).
