I think at least a billion times Valve has been contacted by TF2 Players asking them to re-release scraped beta content (mainly the Nail Gun and Tranquilizer Gun)
Not once have they, so why do people keep trying.

Well if it would do no damage and only slow people down it wouldn't be so overpowered becouse you would loose the protection of your revolver

The revolver is only good when you see enemies at low health or razorback snipers anyway. I wouldnt call it a "protection".
