Has anybody recognised? - Games

That there was no Medic Update? You looky there on the TF2 blog. It was called the [URL="http://steamgames.com/tf2/goldrush/"]"The Gold Rush Update[/URL]", yeah it had medic weapons and achievments, but it wasnt the actual "Medic" Update. [IMG]http://i49.tinypic.com/wvu2kw.jpg[/IMG] In that case, the Pyro update would have been called, "Fastlane" or "Turbine", The heavy, "Steel" and "Badwater" and so on. So this could be a major thing if you think about it. Maybe Valve IS going for another shot at updating the medic? Esspecially with the latest little "Update" for the Ubersaw.

Maybe they just thought of the name after the Medic update got released, case closed.

Then why wouldnt they continue it? hey, im just saying what i think COULD happen.

Well. It was the Medic update, but it was the first update. They added Payload, which at the time was called Gold Rush.. See where I'm going with this? Gold Rush was the only map that featured payload, and they hadn't thought of an official name. It was called the Goldrush update because everyone was thinkin about the new gamemode called payload, and Goldrush was going to be the first payload map. At the time the new gamemode was more interesting news than a couple of weapons for the medic.
