• Workshop.tf - 3d Preview TF2 workshop items

Hello TF2 workshop contributors ! I'm the guy behind loadout.tf. A while ago, i started to add some workshop items to loadout.tf. This was much appreciated by TF2 users, but needed a huge work for me. So i decided to make a system where workshop creators can upload their own creations. Thus i started to make a new website, workshop.tf. Its online and ready to go. Now i need your help to populate the website and promote your items. If you want to upload your creations, just go to [URL="http://workshop.tf/upload/"]http://workshop.tf/upload/[/URL] Things you have to know: -I only accept items uploaded to valve's workshop. -Items can only be uploaded by the main creator. -Certified items will be automatically processed. I uploaded one of my items, but I can't seem to get the item to show up on the model on the homepage.

Very nice idea, is the lighting and normal maps going to work in the future? As that's quite a big selling point for lots of items

This is really cool, though does it works with weapons?
Didn't you do the same with weapon skin previews? Could you make one for user made skins, so people can view skins in 3D?

This site is fantastic. I've uploaded around a half dozen items you can use to test features on your site. Some feedback: - Might want to make the home page a little more intuitive - give instructions to the user to first click a class, then a cosmetic. - I noticed each workshop item upon click was actually toggle-able. Having some sort of visual gestures that each thumbnail is indeed a toggle would be great. It would also allow users to see what they currently are wearing. - I'd REALLY like to see the same lightwarp as the one used in-game. As far as base functionality goes, it works flawlessly with the exception of my pumpkin canteens - the texture is black there, which may warrant some looking at. I anticipate it's due to either the rimlight mask, selfillum mask, phong mask, or a combination of the three.

I already have all the f files he needs and then people don't need to upload their items to numerous sites. Unfortunately he's not accepted, so I can't discuss this with him...
Equipping the Double Agent causes the current class to switch to pyro, is this intentional? Considering the thumbnail shows it on spy.

All class items do not switch character anymore.
Once I click on an item it lags out taking 10 seconds for it to load.
