Hey I noticed a while back that there was a mod that made it so that you could see the damage you did with a critical hit.
I'm a complete noob when it comes to TF2 (havent played it much since the beta days and early hat/update). Could anyone tell me how to turn it on or install it?
It's actually an in game option, under multiplayer. It will show your damage for any hit, not just crits.
It's in the advanced settings on the last tab in the options menu.
It lists the damage done by every hit, not just criticals.
Its good to find deadringer spies, especially when i backstab one.
I find it weird that the "display damage" thing forces the green CRITICAL HIT text to not show up. Is this jut me?
its that way for me too.
I guess your options are either a vague critical hit or a straight number.
I prefer the number. There's a special sound when you get a crit anyway.
