It's a very neat wound, all the same.
I want to know how he lost his eye in an explosion (y'know, being a demoman and all) and still managed to keep the rest of his face intact.
Somebody should alpha off the eye patch and stick another eyeball in there.

Actually those shards hit him in his one remaining good eye, making him completely blind. That's why he launches grenades in random directions and why he stumbles and falls.
Aaaaaaaaaaatually, the neck of the bottle is around the eye.
If you get a freeze frame, you can see that his eye is still intact.
