In light of Scream Fortress 2014, what was the worst update?

It's pretty clear to everyone that SF'14 is less than stellar and that bumper cars are the only thing everyone can agree was a good thing. But since everyone doesn't exactly agree that SF'14 is the worst update the game has received, what do you think is?
Personally, I still think the Hatless Update stands out as one of the worst. Most of the balance changes made did more harm than good and it ended up plaguing the game with a lot of crashing issues for quite some time.
I don't think that there are "worst updates". Every addition to a game is okay i you ask me.
Also use megathreads for discussions like this.
I will answer to this topic only after I will finally manage to play some SF 2014, because else I'd be EXTREMELY biased
Hatless Update, Robotic Boogaloo and Smissmas 2013.
The Strongbox Update stands out to me as not only being terribly disappointing but the only update I've seen that's negatively affected gameplay with weapon buffs/nerfs (that have not since been reverted). The Cleaner's Carbine was ruined, the Reserve Shooter was made even more ungodly annoying on Pyros, the "buff" to Natascha's ammo made sure Valve wouldn't feel the need to touch that terrible thing again even though it needs a major overhaul... It was also really glitchy and again, I stress how disappointing it was, because they left the crate unopened for four weeks, generating hype that was completely unmet.
Yeeahh Robotic Boogaloo. Reskins of hats that don't have any good-looking sets at all.
Manniversary, the update that went beyond TF2 in breaking things.
SF14 was lackluster but I can't say I blame Valve. The TF2 team is small and they're already working on a bunch of updates.

Whatever the update (or the cumulative addition of) was that made the game borderline unplayable if you don't have a strong CPU, forcing people who used to be able to max out the game in 2008/9 to use FPS configs in 2014. This is your original sin, Valve; seriously.
Other than that, the sticky/minigun nerf of June 2014.
I forgot what update, but all the classes got something but then we got one little message on the blog

That would be the Über Update.

I hated the video but the weapons were badass. Balanced BFB (before they ruined it), Beggar's Bazooka (as awesome as always, at least to me), Hitman's Heatmaker, Pocket Pistol...

Whoever didn't uninstall the game due to F2P uninstalled the game due to horrible crutches and useless junk the update brought. At least they straightened them over the years a bit.
I dont hate the major updates per say, but the little "balance" patches valve roll out? eurgh.
In terms of sheer disappointment, Smissmas 2013. In terms of sheer annoyance, the update that reverted the sticky nerf.
I wasn't around for it, but Manniversary would be my pick for sure. Say what you want about dissapointing updates but at least most of them don't break the game.
robotic boogaloo

Also the maps sucked and the class was still useless on goldbowlrush maps.
Update, when they changed sv_pure to 1.

Damn, has it really been 5 years since the Sandman was added?
The worst part of robotic boogaloo was that they didn't put any of the hats onto the robots.

Smissmas 2013 can be summed up by just this picture. It was lazy. So lazy, in fact, their banner for the update was a workshop item promo.
It didn't add things, it removed things. The most notable parts of the update were the unbalancing of the Conch and Diamondback, and turning the Short Circuit from one of the worst weapons in the game to one that made Soldier and Demo mains legit take breaks from the game as a whole.
And if one compares it to 2012 through 2010, those added weapons, maps, and tours. This update just gave everyone a bundle of tools that probably took 10 minutes to design.

Screamfortress 2012 (The costumes were great)
Reverting the Sticky Bomb nerf
I personally thought that the stickybomb nerf was too much, but it was absolutely ridiculous how fast it was reverted. Even more so when compared to all the other weapons that Valve has nerfed/buffed that have yet to be reverted or fixed.
I want my 5th rocket back pls
None update was the worst. Exspecially the latest halloween events has got better in the last years.
Most people just saying a big update is bad when they don't realease any weapon. Valve simply can't add over 1000 weapons from the workshop into the game. Every new single weapon changes the game mechanics alot (if they are no reskin), so in the end we would have a huge unbalanced and completly different game.
The Robotic Boogaloo update was just a big bag of disappointing things as far as I'm concerned.
The more recent sticky nerf was awful too.

And seeing as there are only like 2 1/2 people on the TF Team it would take forever to do anything.

hasn't it been confirmed like a dozen times that the TF team is as big as ever?
Robotic Boogaloo. Full stop.
While this year's Scream Fortress definitely felt like last year's amazing Scream Fortress but less, I still had some fun, and got some nice stuff.
My most hated of all has to be Spy VS Sniper. Because it set the very thing that would ruin TF2 for me forever. Every god damn moron being Snipers and Spies. And still feels like they're just that class for achievement whoring. Because that was the same update that introduced hats.
I remember never ever ever getting a hat drop, no matter how long I played.
Eventually trading came out and it was worse, I never knew the Bills Hat or the Max's head would have any value at all. I liked the Bills but the max was ugly to me. I gave them away to some poor sob that never got any because I wanted to be nice.
HOW THE FUCK WAS I SUPPOSED TO KNOW THEY'D BE WORTH SOMETHING?!
