TF2 new class - Games - Facepunch Forum

Hi everyone if Valve were to make a new set of classes for TF2 and the community could design them, and the best would get made what would be your ideas.

TF2's classes are fine. If you seriously consider making new classes, do you know just how much balancing you'd have to consider? And the map layout might need a change as well depending on abilities, strengths, weaknesses, etc.

A melee fighter would be a good addition to the game, I dont see too much people using melee except on medieval mode, oh wait, I totally forgot that fake update about the tf2's dog, that'd be a good addition too.

If there was to be a new class, I'd say it should either be an air combat based one, or an underwater based one(Should include many more maps with much greater amounts of water, and the class would still function on land, he would just be slightly advantaged in water).

Civilian would make me happy I mean i don't know what other new class can you add other than a jetpack class, maybe a ninja? that's so overused.

Guard dog was a REALLY cool concept. IMO, that should of been put in-game. It encouraged more team work than anything in the game. But of course, Valve takes the bad community-made things.

Had so much fun and it was before this hat fiasco bullshit.
