It does sound like a good idea, but it just isn't for me. The crosshairs that are already in-game are fine as is.
I think I get what your saying, you think you should be able to customize crosshairs for every weapon in a way better then currently available.
I would like the custom crosshairs more if instead of just one part of the crosshair it was 2 parts that could be different colors. For instance I like the crosshair that shotguns have but I wish it was green, and custom crosshairs don't work on pure servers.
