+use is not working? - Games

For some reason the command +use is not working. Anyway know a possible problem?

Try -use

Valve made a command to disable it. It's off by default.

sv_playercanuse or something

It's a server command too, so the server owner has to change that command.

A possible problem: You have to do type it in a specific way: Correct: -bind f "+use" Incorrect: -bind f +use -bind f ''+use''

The quoteless one should work, it works for noclip and such, right?

I know it's been said, but I'll clarify it: there is a server cvar that disables it and [b]+use is disabled by default[/b]. So, unless the server operator specifically enables it, +use can't be used.

Why is it disabled, anyways. I, personally, think it's retarded.

Agh, I hate how it's disabled now. I remember how I would go spy, and press +Use on traffic cones, and freak out the other team, by making them bounce around :)

It's been off for about 2 or 3 months now...

I loved +using barrels and just hiding in them. Shame they turned it off. :saddowns:
