Ever since i bought tf2 i have been having this problem were if i play in a server long enough it trys to auto disconnect me. Is this normal???

Probably because the server crashed.
No. it happens to every server. No matter what. Others dont lag. i do.
Maybe your computer is over heating

it isn't that either. It has to do with tf2. It never does this with ArmA or Gmod.

i use AT&T. It never did this before.

It also did it when i got 100 kills with my sentry. So it isn't my internet.
Probably just your pc can't handle all the crap they added with engineer update, seems to have killed alot of performance.
But randomly disconnecting after a set time would be;
Servers crashing
Bad wifi signal/interference
Dodgy network drivers.
Dodgy router that starts dieing after alot of constant packets? (My router proper dies when i connect to some torrents which make loads of connections, kicks speed down to below 1mbps till about 30 minutes after i restart it).
