I've been wondering what's wrong because when I shoot at a wall with a shotgun only one bullet hole shows up. and when I shoot it with an other weapon multiple times the new one replaces the old one. Is there a console command that managed to get reset or something? Also sprays don't show up even though I know mine works and disable sprays is unchecked in the multiplayer menu.
Yeah, this is the same problem as I have.
Type mp_decals 4096 in console.
r_decals >1
mp_decals >1
(>1 = Greater than one.)
I recommend having it between 40 and 60.
Or it will render all decals in the map, i think.
On the other hand, 4096 informs you how long an Engineer was shooting at the same wall with the Wrangler.
Hah, I love turning that up to 4096. On servers where there's pre-round mayhem, the spawn room is a total bloodbath.
