You have to enable ps4 configuration support first, in controller settings.
If I remember right, last year we got a steam sale for the new chinese year.

having an issue with the steam controller:
trying to set up the track pad as a joystick, but when i close out of the config it reverts back to its old settings. had this problem before when trying to set up for enter the gungeon.
I'm really getting sick of this "Please verify your age" every time I click on a R-18 game on Steam.
I'm 23. Just take it out after such a long time... or give me a possibility to disable it.
Steam is probably really confused about how old I am, I have put like 20 different dates in that box over the last years

Yeah but the problem is the steam client doesn't even remember longer than a day making it quite nuisance.

If I recall correctly, Valve hasn't been listed as an exhibitor at GDC in a few years. Although they did show off Source 2 and Steam machines in 2015 behind closed doors and at others' booths

Some of the older specific dates that you can choose make Steam tell you that this specific date is incorrect. Why even bother putting it in there as an option if it tells you to fuck off anyway?

Yeah steam is having problems, most fun part is how many games rely on steam for stats/saves/etc making them unplayable.
