Hello Facepunch! We are happy to present you our little project. A journal dedicated to almost anything related to Valve's work or community creations based on it. We're not professionals (yet) in this sphere and are open to criticism. The frontcover you have there was quite offputting but I was surprised to find some cool content inside. Might be worth putting an artist or two at work to spice everything up :pudge:
whoever disagrees with this didn't even read past the cover. what a fantastic thing. hope you people get the exposure and could keep working on this, i'd be sure to read this fully in the next days.
To add, I highly recommend to put more thought into your presentation (frontcover, the post in this thread, more sites to read the content on) As the right spirit and content is behind it.
That is some awesome presentation this is. it would feel so nice to actually read it psychically. It really oozes a warm feeling from the fonts, to the way it looks.

I enjoyed it by the way, is a nice read.
I haven't tried yet, but can I read this on my mobile? I'd love to read this at work.
I haven't tried yet, but can I read this on my mobile? I'd love to read this at work.
yes, it works on mobile. Also issue.com have got their own app for android
yes, it works on mobile. Also issue.com have got their own app for android
I'll download the app, then!
Pretty damn neat idea, and pulled off pretty decently. If I could have any complaint, it would be the sometimes poor English in places. Also, your descriptions of DotA and Dota 2 were pretty barebones.
We will try to improve our work, thank you all for criticism :) Also, we are looking for a model, for our november journal version. So post in the comments your loadout screenshots.
We have a thread for loadouts, feel Free to take a look there and contact whoever you guys like the most
While you guys did a good job, I was biting my lip on a few things, cause this is the kind of thing I've been doing for the last few years as a career. But for a first go at it, you did fine. And I really could nitpick the living hell out of it, but eh, I'll let ya learn the hard way :P.
I just looked through it and going to read it later, but here is what i think now... So, where and when can i buy one that is on paper? :v:
I just looked through it and going to read it later, but here is what i think now... So, where and when can i buy one that is on paper? :v:
Dude, even at the cheapest rates, printing off 2500 copies costs around $2600-$3200 (at least around here, that is). They'd need to find advertisers and all that jazz. Keeping it digital is much cheaper, and reaches a lot more people. On a side note, SourceSTUFF just doesn't seem like that great of a magazine title to me, at least. Maybe something like The Source, and the under title can be "Your hub for all things Source/Valve related!" I don't know, just spit balling here.
This is a great piece of art.
Also, we've got group dedicated to this journal on vk.com (social network) where you can ask us questions and make suggestions. If anyone interested we can create facebook page as well. What do you think about this?

http://steamcommunity.com/groups/sourcestuff Steam group is done. If anyone want to ask us questions or make suggestions - feel free to do so. Or you can ask me here, if you want :)
Hello again, Facepunch community. SourceSTUFF is happy to introduce you our first basic interactive. The rules are simple: - Open SFM and load up spy model. - Use "Graylien" cosmetic. - Create unique spy outfit in combination with other cosmetics. - Place your newly created character in a suitable enviroment and post it here. Best works will be presented in our next issue. Little example [IMG_thumb]https://pp.vk.me/c625616/v625616421/4bbb7/ulIlQ0wPHCY.jpg[/IMG_thumb]
Some more works for our little interactive :) [IMG_thumb]http://i.imgur.com/rBBS6mx.jpg[/IMG_thumb] [IMG_thumb]http://i.imgur.com/0mc66jm.jpg[/IMG_thumb] Hope facepunch users will join us ^^
Due to some limitations of free reader services like issuu, i wanna upload .pdf of our next issue to online file storage. Which one of them should i use? Maybe dropbox? Also, we have a vk.com group where it can be downloaded it as well, if you okay with russian social nerworks. vk link
Dropbox can block your public links for 15 or 30 days if your account is generating too muc traffic with them... Perhaps mediafire or mega.co.nz :v:?
Then i'll use mediafire and vk public. Btw i guess, that anyone can download files from our public without registration. I'll upload compressed .pdf version in vk. Could anyone try it out?:) link for post.
Looks awesome for the most part! Skimmed through it and it looks like a pretty decent production. Although, that's not the most glowing review of MaxOfS2D... :v:
And the November issue is almost done! But...we are looking for more Proof-readers. If anybody interested - just text me on steam, or pm me here.

While in "Source STUFF" magazine we are working hard on the December issue, we are inviting you to participate in our new interactive. It is not difficult to guess that it is dedicated to the New Year. Your task is simple - create a Christmas atmosphere for Team Fortress 2 characters. You decide what it will be: a friendly game of snowballs Christmas dinner or just decorating a Christmas tree. Do not limit your imagination, most important is to create a Christmas mood. The best works, as always fall on the pages of our magazine. The competition runs from 30 November to 13 December. You can post your wokrs either here, or in media thread
Whoa the November edition really tells me that I need to step up my gmod game :v:
