Demoman Fro Truly Hatless? - Games

Is the Fro the hatless version of the Demoman? Or could it be just a different hair style. I don't see how he fits all that fro in that cap. And from pics with his cap on, he appears to have shaved sideburns. Maybe he has a shaved head like the soldier. Technically they both are men of war, and men of war often have shaved heads due to military standards. Maybe he has shorter hair and the afro is just him with a bandana and he grew his hair out? This is the first thing I thought when I compared the hatless versions of the Scout, Sniper, and Engineer to the Demoman's fro.

The fro isn't the hatless version because he puts on a headband.

Demoman is not a soldier, or part of the military. So he does not need a shaved head.

Soldier needs a hatless.

Anyone want to test it?

I think it'd be fine if Soldier had a hatless since he already takes off his helmet to wear the Cheater's Lament. As for the Demoman, his Fro could kinda-sorta count as a hatless, but in the end a true hatless would be his shaved/short-haired head without his little cap on. The hat is currently fused to his head, though, so unlike the other classes who had a head under their hats all along, there really isn't a way to hatless-ize the Demoman unless Valve feels like remaking his model to make his cap removable, which I doubt. So, in conclusion, the Fro is probably the closest we'll get to "hatless" Demoman unless Valve decides to do a little extra work. I was expecting a hatless Soldier after I saw the Sniper, Scout, and Engineer hatless. I guess we might get it if there is another classless update, or an update containing new hats.
