Right now I'm trying to craft an Engie hat, so I can have a shot at a Texas Ten-Gallon. I have 2 of the 3 hats I want: The Pyro's Rubber Glove and the Medic's Tyrolean. I used to have the Texas Ten-Gallon, but I lost it in the holocaust. Those are the only 3 hats I want.

Hats mean nothing to me now, so i crafted it(seriously, i missed seeing the scout's headset, and i didn't just want to leave the hat there un-equipped, soo i did what i had to do)

I didn't know I would get the mirror. (I was hoping for the fedora, or the tyrants).
If it makes any scout players in this thread feel any better, i crafted a Baker Boy with a Otolaryngologist's Mirror to make a Brigade Helm, then broke THAT down with a Mining Light to make a Tough Guy's Toque.
I actually kind of regret it though, since now i wont be able to specify for an engineer hat, but at least now I've got my favorite hats for 2 of my favorite classes (I'm almost always the defense classes if there isn't an overabundance of them already. Hoping that when i get 3 refined together that they make an engie hat. Hell, even Texas Slim's Dome Shine or another Mining Light will do)

I mean seriously, you get 1 hat for 2.
You could've had 2 ok hats but now you have 1 great hat.

I had the Mirror for some time, I hated it. Then I crafted it with the Prussian hat to get some Sniper hat. I wanted the Brigade Helmet! :smithicide:

Well I just crafted my Panama and Bakers Boy to get the Othor. Scope for Medic. Im not sure to be happy or pissed. I play medic more than scout or sniper so I have some mixed feelings.
