I mean [B][I]really[/I][/B], why do we let the servers someone took the time and effort to create for us fail?
Most of our time is spent either sorting through all the crap servers to find a good one, or complaining about all the crap servers (nightteam, saigns, etc.).
I've seen 3 different FPUS servers come about and die off within a week or two due to [B]no one playing on them.
[/B]This pisses me off pretty badly, since, you know, it's hard as stale ballsacks for me to find somewhere to play that doesn't suck.
We always complain about 24/7, HLxStats, donation benefits, furries, weaboos, RTD, sv_pure, whatever.
All the FPUS servers I've seen have everything that we always say we want, yet every time I would start up TF2 I'd have to stare at the "0/24 players" on the server list.
With all the whining done by everyone (including me), you'd think that we'd all go to the place that is [I]specifically catering[/I] [I]to us.[/I]

I hardly ever play on FP-servers, there's loads of nice/okay servers, and shit like hlxstats they don't bother me, RTD i'm not even sure what it is, but not even quake-sounds piss me off they are pretty funny tbh
also furries/weebos whatever they don't bother me either. only thing that makes me not to join a server is;
1) 24/7 PL_GOLDRUSH SPAM HURR as well as pretty much any other 24/7 BADWATER/DUSTBOWL/whatever
2) donation cheat servers, even more ridiculous spam. (saigns, [FR] <random name serv>, nightteam, ??)
3) map is either achievement_idle or... trading_plaza or anything stupid like that
(also the god damned BOTS)
those 3 cover at least 50% of the servers lol

It's always empty for me. I always wait for one person to join, but usually it's empty.
So it's probably timezones that are my issue. Everyone is playing while I'm sleeping. And that sucks.
It's the same issue with every server made by people who just want a good server.
People bitch that they can't find any good servers, then one is made, then no-one goes on it, then people start bitching again.

Imo, the FPUS sounds like its at least more successful than the FPUK UNSRS, just look at all the drama and restarts that happened there.

when FPUS v. n is up then I usually join and play, even with 200+ ping
it's almost full for first two or three days, but then it just dies :C
