Well whoever holds a specific numbered item has no way to avoid being pestered about it other than that option that blocks all incoming trade requests. Provided that they want to keep it, that is.

A few weeks ago I was only 8 hats away from completing my collection of every single craftable hat but now thanks to the past two hat updates and the insane Mannconomics, its an impossible dream :smith:

Only if you craft one of the first 100 of each type of new hat, Then it gives you a viewable number. Its quite stupid but I think that was what greenmarine was referring to when he said he wanted to make people craft more...

I just get every hat out of the new updates that i think fit or are most enjoyable, if i went after every single one id be hoarding ones i barely switch to wear, its like how i think only the Veil and Team Captain are the best out of the newest set we have now, the rest are cowboy hats, boring ones, etc.

If we are talking about OCD, and how i wanted to have all the engineer items, then guess again.
The Golden Wrench existed, also i barely got someone to let go of that stupid fucking bear, after like 2 weeks of it being out. Just trust me, it isnt worth the stress, just trade some of the ones you have away for ones youd actually wear or change to occasionally.

Yeah, I've fallen too far behind with all these new hats to 'have them all'.
I'd like to be able to craft a numbered hat each time there's a major update, but I doubt I'll get enough hats/metal in between each update to do so. I had to craft 10 hats together to get 1 numbered one (including crafting the results of those crafts) and that was pretty lucky.
